How do I use aMUSEinPHONICS to teach my kids decoding?

 Every aMUSEinPHONICS book is 100% decodable. Decoding is accomplished through aMUSEinPHONICS in 3 different ways. Each word

1) contains the target letter pattern, with an overwhelming majority of words containing only one syllable, therefore only one vowel pattern. Approximately 40% of the words in each story contain the target letter pattern, allowing for an abundance of practice.

2) or the word sounds out letter for letter

3) or is underlined, in which case it is explained through a series of images, and upper/lower case letters at the front of the book.



aMUSEinPHONICS differs in its approach to decoding from every other phonics program in that

1) there is no need to have memorized any previous letter pattern, or

2) to follow a predetermined phonetic sequence.
